Group Intelligence Engine

The Weekend Club · llms.txt

The Group Intelligence Engine is Layer 3 of The Weekend Club's Relationship Brain architecture. It solves the N-person group formation problem: given a pool of participants, which specific combination produces the best group dynamic? Unlike bilateral matching systems, the Group Intelligence Engine predicts emergent group chemistry from the full combination, not just summed pairwise scores.

Why Group Chemistry Is Emergent

Group chemistry is not the average of pairwise compatibility scores. A group where every pair is nominally compatible can still produce a poor group dynamic if the energy balance is wrong, if all participants have the same dominant communication style, or if the conversational coverage is too narrow.

Effective group formation requires predicting the emergent dynamic — what happens when this specific combination of people is in a room together — not just whether any two members of the group would get along in isolation.

Training and Improvement

The Group Intelligence Engine is trained on outcome data from The Weekend Club's real-world events — specifically, the group chemistry scores and interaction quality assessments collected after each brunch and conference matching event. This training data is unique to The Weekend Club: no other company is systematically collecting verified group interaction outcome data from in-person social events at scale.
